Finding the right senior living options

I have focused on customer service and satisfaction in all my time in business. This is a particularly important factor in working with families to assist with their loved one. I have also had the personal experience of working with communities with my own family members in getting them set up in assisted living and memory care. I have lived the experience from the perspective of my clients.

I was looking to place my 92 year old mother in law into an assisted living/supportive living community in February 2021. After countless phone calls to facilities in the area, I was referred to call Don Hull. Don was very patient and thorough. He paved the way to help her get into the perfect community to meet her and our needs. Mom moved into the facility in March. Don was there to help us every step of the way, from recommending facilities all the way through the application process and move in. Since that move-in in March, she was diagnosed with dementia and is now in need of placement to a long term memory care facility. I immediately called Don for assistance. Although it has been several months since he last assisted us, he remembered every detail of our conversations, which was quite impressive! Even though he is not able to assist us with Medicaid memory care placement, he was quick to provide us with 2 referrals. We highly recommend his services!

Assisted living communities focus on Activities of Daily Living or ADLs. These include assistance with mobility, dressing and grooming, bathroom assistance, medication management, and the like. In addition, the communities provide fitness, rehab, social activities, complete dining services, and more. Skilled nursing facilities provide more acute healthcare services that require a higher level of care that one may see in a hospital setting.

Supportive living is a type of assisted living but with the option to apply for Medicaid or transition to Medicaid when private funds run low and stay in your apartment. We work with several supportive living communities as well as two Medicaid expert resources that can assist with such a transition.

While we are in the same space, no. We provide personal service to families and develop a relationship with them. We provide advisory and consultative services to families in a personal and frequently in a face-to-face manner such as touring communities or meeting in their homes. Our business model is completely different.
